The debate about the existence of the soul and whether it is immortal, or dies with the person, is an endless story that for centuries has occupied the time of every rational thinker.

The Soul Dies, Returns to the Universe: Two Scientists Prove It (Video)

The American physician, Dr. Stuart Hamerroff and the British physicist Sir Roger Penrose have developed a quantum theory of consciousness, which states that our souls are contained within structures called microtubules within our brain cells.

The idea was developed because of the concept that the brain is a biological computer, with 100 billion neurons, whose synaptic connections act as information networks. Dr. Hameroff, a professor emeritus in the Department of Anesthesiology and Psychology and Director of the Center for Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona, and Sir Roger have been working on the theory since 1996.

They argue that our consciousness experiences are the result of the effects of quantum gravity on microtubules, a process they call objective orchestrated reduction (Orch-OR).

In a near-death experience, microtubules lose their quantum state, but the information inside them is not destroyed. Or in understandable terms, the soul does not die but returns to the universe.

Dr. Hameroff explained the theory extensively in a documentary narrated by Morgan Freeman, called "Through the Wormhole," which was recently issued by the Science Channel in the United States.

"Let's say the heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing, the microtubules lose their quantum state. The quantum information in the microtubules is not destroyed, it can not be destroyed, it is simply distributed and dissipated by the universe, "said Dr. Hameroff.

"If the patient is resuscitated, this quantum information can be returned to the microtubules and the patient says 'I had a near-death experience,'" Dr. continued. Hameroff If the patient dies, "it would be possible for this quantum information to exist outside the body indefinitely, as a soul"

Dr. Hameroff believes that new ideas about the role of quantum physics in biological processes such as bird navigation help confirm the theory.

Archaeologists in Egypt and Germany have found an eight-meter quartzite statue submerged in the bottom of a pit in a poor neighborhood of Cairo that is likely to represent the revered Pharaoh Ramses II, who ruled more than 3,000 years ago.

Historical archaeological discovery in Egypt: a colossus representing Ramses II

The discovery, described by the Ministry of Antiquities of Egypt as one of the most important in history, was made near the ruins of the temple of Ramses II in the ancient city of Heliopolis, located in the eastern part of what is the current Capital of Egypt.

Pharaoh, the most powerful and celebrated ruler of ancient Egypt, also known as Ramses the Great , was the third of the nineteenth Dynasty and occupied the throne between 1279 and 1213 BC. He led several military campaigns and extended the Egyptian empire from Syria in the east to Nubia (now Sudan) in the south.

"We found the bust of the statue and the lower part of the head and now we remove the head and find the right crown and ear and a fragment of the right eye," said the Minister of Antiquities Khaled al-Anani.

Archaeologists also found the top of a statue of Pharaoh Seti II, grandson of Ramses II, 80 centimeters long.

The Temple of the Sun at Heliopolis was erected by Ramses II, which gives weight to the possibility that the statue represents it, according to archaeologists. This was one of the largest temples in Egypt, almost twice the size of Karnak, in Luxor, but was destroyed in the Greco-Roman era. Many of its obelisks were moved to Alexandria or Europe and stones were looted from the place for use in other constructions as Cairo grew.

The discovery was made in the working class area of Matariya (the ancient Heliopolis) between muddy streets and unfinished buildings. According to Dietrich Raue, head of the German team, the ancient Egyptians believed that Heliopolis was the place where the sun god lived. The experts will try to extract the remaining pieces of both statues for restoration. If they succeed and the colossus represents Ramses II, the statue will be placed at the entrance of the Great Egyptian Museum, which will be inaugurated in 2018.

The abundant presence of platinum found in the area could indicate that the old Clovis culture disappeared from North America after the impact of an asteroid, scientists say.

Archaeologists at the University of South Carolina claim to have the answer to the mysterious disappearance of the prehistoric Clovis culture, which inhabited North America 12,800 years ago. After discovering platinum remains in sedimentary sequences from the area dating back to the early Dryas period, the researchers conclude that this "anomaly" could indicate that it was the impact of an extraterrestrial object that ended the Clovis culture and a series of Species of great animals that inhabited the planet at that time. Their study has been published in the Nature portal .

The remains of platinum, an element associated with space objects such as asteroids, found in large quantities in 11 US sites. (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina), could indicate that a major impact of a cosmic object against the Earth occurred in the recent Dryas climatic cooling period, which coincides with the end Of this mysterious prehistoric culture, explain the scientists. The authors of the study say that the results of their research are "consistent" with previous similar discoveries of platinum remains found in Greenland in 2013. Scientists also note that their findings "do not contradict" the so-called " Comet Clovis "on the astronomical impact of an object coming from outer space that hit the Earth. However, researchers admit that "detailed evidence of this impact or explosion is beyond the scope of this study."

The real reason marijuana was proscribed has nothing to do with its effects on the mind and the human body. Rather, it is one of the greatest conspiracies in history

MARIJUANA IS NOT DANGEROUS

Marijuana is not harmful to the mind or body. Marijuana is not a public threat either. Marijuana is dangerous for oil companies, the chemical, alcohol and tobacco industries. Large corporations, with many dollars and influence, have suppressed the truth behind marijuana.

The truth is that if marijuana were used to obtain a wide range of products from it, it would detonate an industrial atomic bomb. Entrepreneurs have not been told about the true potential of marijuana. The Megarians have conspired to spread great misconceptions about a very versatile plant that, if appropriately used by others would soon ruin its multimillionaire companies.

Where did the word marijuana come from? In the thirties, such a word was created to tarnish the good image and phenomenal history of the plant known as hemp. The facts and references cited here are generally verifiable in the Encyclopedia Britannica, founded in 1768, reputed to be the most prestigious source of information in the world, which was printed on hemp paper for 150 years:

* All school books were made from hemp and linen paper until the 1880s. (Hemp paper was once again considered, Jack Frazier, 1974.)

* In the United States it was legal to pay taxes on hemp from 1631 until the early 19th century. (Latin American Times, August 12, 1981.)

* Refusing to grow hemp in the US during the 17th and 18th centuries was illegal. Between 1663 and 1769 he could be imprisoned in Virginia for refusing to grow hemp. (Hemp in Colonial Virginia, GM Herdon.)

* George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other heroes grew hemp. Jefferson smuggled hemp seeds from China to France and then to the US. (Washington and Jefferson Agendas.)

* Benjamin Franklin owned one of the first litter bins in America and processed hemp. Also, the war of 1812 was fought over hemp. Napoleon wanted to cut the export from Moscow to England. (The emperor does not wear clothes, Jack Herer.)

* For centuries, 90% of the sails and ropes of the ships were made with hemp. The "canvas", is the Dutch word for marijuana. (Webster's New World Dictionary.)

* Approximately 80% of textiles, fabrics, clothing, curtains, bedding, etc. Was made of hemp until the 1820, when the cotton cleaner was introduced.

* The first Bibles, maps and charts, as well as the drafts of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were made of hemp. (US Government File.)

* The first crop that grew in many states, was hemp. The 1850s were good years to produce 40,000 tons in Kentucky. Hemp was the most lucrative crop until the 20th century.

* The oldest known records of hemp cultivation date back more than 5000 years in China, although its industrialization probably goes back to ancient Egypt.
* Renoirs, Van Goghs, Rembrants, and Gainsboroughs, as well as most early works made of oil, were painted on hemp canvases.

* In 1916, the US government predicted that by the 1940s the paper would not come from hemp and therefore more trees should be cut. Government studies report that one hectare of hemp equals four hectares of trees.

* Until 1937, quality paints and varnishes were made from hemp seed oil. In 1935 some 58,000 tons of hemp seeds were used in the US for the manufacture of paint. (Sherman William, testimony before Congress against the Marijuana Tax Act in 1937.)

* Henry Ford's first Model-T was built to run on hemp fuel and a large part of the same car was made of hemp. On his extensive property, Ford was photographed among his fields of hemp. The car, 'grown from the ground', had hemp plastic panels whose amazing hardness was 10 times stronger than steel. (Popular Mechanics, 1941.)

* Hemp was called 'The Billion Dollar Harvest'. For the first time a commercial crop had a business potential exceeding $ 1 trillion. (Popular Mechanics, February, 1938.)

* The journal Ingeniería Mecánica (February, 1938) published an article titled 'The most desirable and profitable harvest that could be obtained'. He indicated that if hemp were grown using 20th century technology, it would be the largest single crop in the US and the rest of the world.

The following information comes directly from the United States Department in 1942. In a 14-minute film, it encourages and instructs 'patriotic American farmers' to grow 350,000 acres of hemp a year to finance the war effort .

When the Greek temples were new, the hemp was already old in the service of the humanity. For thousands of years it was grown for rope and fabrics in China and other parts of the East. For centuries and before the 1850s the ships that sailed the western seas were rigged with rope and cañameñas sails. For the sailor and no less than for the executioner and his gallows hemp was indispensable.

The cultivation and production of hemp does not harm the environment. The USDA Bulletin # 404 concluded that hemp crops harvested 4 times as much pulp with at least 4 to 7 times less contamination. (Popular Mechanics, February, 1938.)

'It has a short growing season. .. It can grow in any state. .. Its long roots penetrate and break the earth to leave it in perfect conditions for next year's harvest. The density of its branches, 8 to 12 feet above the ground, strangulate weeds.

In the 1930s, innovations in agricultural machinery would have caused an industrial revolution when applied to hemp. This single resource could generate millions of new jobs that generate thousands of quality products. Hemp, had it not been made illegal, would have brought the United States of America out of the depression.

William Randolph Hearst (Citizen Kane) and Hearst Paper Manufacturing Division of Kimberly Clark owned vast forested areas. The Hearst company supplied most of the paper products. Patty Hearst's grandfather, a destroyer of nature for his own personal gain, risked losing billions because of hemp.

In 1937, Dupont patented the processes for manufacturing petroleum and coal plastics. Dupont's annual report urged shareholders to invest in its new petrochemical division. Synthetic plastics such as cellophane, celluloid, nylon, rayon, dacron, etc., could be obtained from hemp oil. The natural industrialization of hemp would have ruined the immensely lucrative business of Dupont and other billionaires who would be harmed trying to compete against such a renewable natural resource and from which it is possible to obtain such a wide variety of products of great quality and great demand in all corners of the planet .

THE GREAT CONSPIRACY

Andrew W. Mellon, became Secretary of the Treasury of Hoover and primary investor of Dupont. He also appointed his future nephew, Harry J. Anslinger, to lead the Federal Office of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

Many secret meetings were held by these and other large financial magnates. Hemp was declared dangerous and a threat to its billionaires. For his dynasties to last, the hemp had to go. These men took a dark Mexican brown word, "marijuana," and injected it very deeply into the collective consciousness of the entire American continent.

Manipulation of the media
A virulent campaign of continuous lightning attacks on the part of yellow means took place between the twenties and the late thirties. Hearst newspapers presented stories that accentuated the alleged horrors of marijuana. The threat of marijuana produced big headlines. The readers learned that it was the cause from traffic accidents to the most unbridled immorality.

Films such as "Porn Madness" (1936), "Marihuana: El asesino de juventud" (1935) and Marihuana: Devil's Grass (1936) were propaganda designed by these industrialists to create an enemy. Its purpose was to win public support so that tough anti-marijuana laws could be passed.

Examine the following quotes from 'The Burning Question' (alias) Reefer Madness:

A violent narcotic. ... Acts of frightening violence. ... Incurable insanity. ... Under the influence of the drug a man killed his whole family with an ax. ... Much more vicious and deadly than drugs like heroin and cocaine is the terrible threat of marijuana!

Reefer Mandes did not finish with the customary 'end'. The film concluded with these words on the screen: Tell your kids!

In the 1930s, people were very naive, even to the point of ignorance. The masses were like sheep, waiting to be led by the few in power. They did not challenge authority. If the news was in the press and on the radio, they believed that it had to be true. They told their children and those infants grew to be the "baby boomers," the parents of people born in the 1950s.

On April 14, 1937, the Prohibitive Marijuana Bill or law banning hemp was passed directly to the House Ways and Means Committee. This committee was the only one that could introduce a law to the House of Representatives without being debated by other committees. Media and Arbitration President Robert Doughton was a supporter of Dupont. He assured that the law would pass in Congress.

Dr. James Woodward, a physician, testified very late in favor of the American Medical Association. He told the committee that AMA's reason for not reporting Prohibitive Marijuana Law was that it had barely discovered that marijuana, which was supposed to be another plant, was the hemp itself.

Few people, at that time, noticed that the deadly threat they had been reading on the first planes of Hearst was hemp, indeed passive. The AMA understood that cannabis was a medicinal plant found in countless curative products sold over the last hundred years.

In September 1937, hemp became illegal. The most useful crop known, became a heroic drug and our planet has been suffering ever since.

Congress banned hemp because it was said to be the drug most known to cause violence. Anslinger, a leader of the Drug Commission for 31 years, promoted the idea that marijuana made users act extremely violent. In the 1950s, under the threat of McCarthyism, Anslinger said just the opposite: Marijuana so pacifies that soldiers would not fight. In addition, the soil suffocates as large tracts of tropical rainforest disappear. Pollution, poisons and toxic substances kill. These problems could be reversed if hemp was industrialized. Natural biomass would supply the energy needed and is being supplied by hydrocarbons. We have already consumed most of the oil and natural gas reserves. We need renewable resources. The hemp,

THE MIRACLE PLANT

The fiber of hemp, is of higher quality than the fiber of the wood. Less caustic chemicals are required to make hemp paper than from trees. The role of hemp does not turn yellow and is very durable. The plant grows rapidly to maturity in a mere season, while the tree can take up to a human life to achieve.

Plastic products can be made from hemp
Plastics from Panama are biodegradable. Over time, they will disintegrate and will not harm the environment. Plastics derived from petroleum contribute to ruining nature; They do not degrade and do great damage. The process to produce the vast array of natural Cañamenos plastics would not ruin the rivers and seas like Dupont and so many other petrochemical companies do. Ecology does not harmonize with the plans of the oil industry and the political machine. Hemp products are safe and natural.

Many medicines should be made from hemp
We must go back to the days when AMA supported marijuana cures. "Medical marijuana" is now legally distributed to only handfuls of people, while the rest of us are forced to rely on a health care system that relies on artificial chemicals produced by large pharmaceutical companies and their insatiable shareholders.

World hunger could end
A wide variety of food products can be generated from hemp. The seeds contain one of nature's richest protein sources. Also: they have two essential fatty acids that cleanse your body of cholesterol. These acids are not found in other parts of nature! Eating marijuana seeds you consume is the best thing you can do for your body.

Clothing should be made of hemp
The hemp clothing is very strong and durable. You could pass your clothes, made of hemp, to your grandchildren. Today, there are American companies that make cannabis clothes; Usually with 50% hemp. Hemp fabrics should be everywhere. On the other hand, they are almost clandestine. It is not allowed to advertise superior hemp products on television and other media. Kentucky, once the largest producer of hemp, made it illegal to wear hemp clothing! Can you imagine being thrown into a jail cell solely by wearing high-quality jeans or shirts made of hemp?

The world is crazy, which does not mean that you should join in collective madness. Join and spread the truth about marijuana. Tell people, including children, the truth. Use hemp products. Eliminate the word marijuana, which has been used to demonize hemp, one of the most amazing fruits of nature. Make it politically incorrect to mention or print the word marijuana. Fight against the propaganda and nonsense designed to favor the interests of the billionaires who benefit thereby. Hemp should be used in the future. We need a good source of clean energy to save our planet from disaster. Let's make hemp!

The liquor stores, tobacco companies and oil companies finance the Association for a Drug Free America and other similar organizations with millions of dollars. We've all seen your biased ads. Now, its insidious motto is: 'Marijuana is more dangerous than we think'. Lies of very powerful and influential companies that started with Hearst's are still alive and kicking.

Brainwashing continues. Now the ads say, "If you use marijuana, you contribute to gang murders and wars." The latest anti-marijuana ads say: If you buy marijuana, you promote terrorism! The new enemy (terrorism) has paved the way to wash their brains in whatever ways best interests the multinationals.

To massify the infamous washing that people undergo for those who benefit the most from the prohibition of growing hemp also uses means of subliminal penetration of the subconscious, so that the individual does not even notice that he ends up thinking as it suits them. However, the establishment does not use the same resources to banish a drug as alcohol, especially when made by narco-states that profit from such a harmful substance that daily causes serious health problems and the death of so many people.

How does subliminal manipulation work? Every film sequence runs at a rate of 24 to 30 frames per second, giving motion to the scenes, a motto such as "marijuana kills" is interspersed in the film or video at the rate of one image per second, delaying a maximum of 1/24 Second on screen. At such a rate the consciousness does not perceive it, while the subconscious does so without difficulty, which in the course of the two hours that a film lasts the brain would register the motto no less than 7000 times. Similar technique is used with the sound in films, music and newscasts, introducing every second the phrase compressed up to 30 times, with similar results. Imagine what happens when the brain collectively perceives 14000 messages per hour without knowing it and not even noticing it. It is well washed!

Ironically, Colombia is a good example, until recently producing the best cannabis on the planet. After years of lending to fight marijuana, for election purposes he has also been applying these techniques of brainwashing, with which certain candidates are elected. As one of the few drug-trafficking states in existence, it has also resorted to the most brutal police and military repression against those who marketed it, especially the political class, which so corruptly profits from the production and sale of alcohol, whose absolute monopoly Controls their interests with each plant that is planted and sold, disguising their malicious behavior with the most arrogant maneuver: said to allocate part of the income from alcohol to pay the magisterial minisalarios. The rest,

Therefore, there is only one enemy: to whom taxes are paid to favor destructors of nature. Holding them, they kill the world before their eyes. The contamination produced by hydrocarbons sickens and kills more than one million innocents a year. Tobacco causes half a million deaths annually. Also another half a million causes alcohol. However, no one ever dies from consuming marijuana!

Hemp should be distributed in drugstores to alleviate problems such as tension and anxiety. Its active agent, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), has a positive effect by alleviating asthma and glaucoma. It also relieves nausea that causes chemo and ailments like arthritis. The hardening and contraction of the arteries is harmful, but the hemp actually broadens them, providing better health. We have been conditioned to believe that smoking marijuana is harmful to health, which is a costly fallacy: not being able to use it to cure the pain and many of the diseases that afflict us.

The stereotype of the marijuana smoker is similar to that of a drunkard. However, the truth is that the creative capacity of many people can increase under their influence. The perception of time slows slightly and one can become more sensitive. You can better appreciate the arts, be closer to nature and usually feel more strongly under the influence of marijuana. It is, in fact, the state of the mind and the body most opposed to the state of intoxication. One can feel more alert with marijuana than with any other known plant.

Cannabis could be of extraterrestrial origin
There is material evidence that it is not like the other plants on the planet. One could conclude that it had to be brought by intelligent beings of some other civilization, for the benefit of humanity. Hemp is the only plant in which the masculine looks different from the feminine one. We do not speak of males and females with respect to the plant kingdom, because the plants do not show their sexes. Except for marijuana. To determine which sex is a certain normal and terrestrial plant, it is necessary to observe it internally, in its DNA. A blade of male grass exactly looks like a blade of female grass. Thus, we can say that the hemp plant has an intense sexuality. Growers eliminate male plants, before they fertilize the female plants. So,

The reason why such a fantastic and sophisticated plant of possible extraterrestrial origin is illegal has nothing to do with how physically or even mentally it can affect us .... Marijuana is illegal, because at economic and human cost, billonarios simply want to continue being billionaires!

Who discovered the electricity and then used it to create an artificial light source? Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison are the respective lords - at least that is the answer that has been accepted as fact.
Often curiosity and surprise have made an appearance when it comes to finding out how in ancient Egypt such artistic and technical perfection was achieved under conditions of total darkness within the numerous subterranean corridors that we can find in countless tombs of a different necropolis. How was it possible to perform such artistic work in the dark galleries of the Valley of the Kings and other underground monuments of ancient Egypt?

An impressive hypothesis

There is a growing contingent of researchers claiming that we should no longer accept the popular version. They argue that electricity was originally discovered in the ancient world and the Egyptian priesthood was the first to harness the power to light their underground tombs.
A series of reliefs cover the walls in a dark corner of a crypt in the temple of Hathor in Dendera. One, in particular, caught the attention of a visiting Norwegian engineer. He did not believe what his own eyes were looking at. What he was certain to find was an Egyptian representation of a light bulb.

Crookes Tubes

The fantastic revelation drew the attention of other electrical engineers. After studying the relief they agreed that it certainly seemed to represent an electric light. Comparing the design of different types of bulbs reached a consensus: the ancient Egyptians had work focuses called " Crookes Tubes ".
"When the [Crookes] tube is in operation, the beam is born where the cathode's electrical wire enters the tube at the opposite end. In the image of the temple, the beam of electrons is represented as an extended serpent. The snake's tail begins where a cable from the energy box enters the tube, and the snake's head touches the opposite end. In Egyptian art, the serpent was the symbol of divine energy

"-  Chris Dunn," The Giza Power Plant. "
To understand why electrical engineers were thrilled by the discovery, and why they believe the ancient Egyptians had Crookes tubes, look at the two photos below:

Two Crookes tubes in operation

The similarity is undeniable, and certainly seems to be true, however, Could ancient Egypt really have possessed such advanced technology? Yes, some electrical engineers say flatly.

No trace of soot

Proponents of the hypothesis argue that along the ancient temples of Egypt and crypts with intricate sculptures, reliefs and wall paintings exist where there is no light available. Lanterns or lamps may have been used, but no trace of soot can be found. Some deep underground tombs have a maze of tunnels and rooms that must have been lit. There is no place to hold torches, however, there is no trace of soot marks on the walls or ceiling.
Some who oppose the electric light hypothesis argue that Egyptians may have used a series of polished mirrors to direct sunlight around the corners and into the deeper areas of the crypts. However, the Egyptian mirrors were made of polished copper and would have been unable to reflect the light with
sufficient intensity by bouncing seven or eight or more mirrors and obtain enough light in the bowels of the underground chambers.
Several years ago this experiment was carried out by the Discovery Channel. Not only is the force of light reaching the crypt insufficient to illuminate the interior walls, the sun moves continuously across the sky necessitating the constant readjustment of the mirrors.
Replica running from the 'Egyptian light bulb'. Other researchers decided to build a Crookes Tube by copying the exact design found on the wall in Hathor. And it worked!.

If you study the relief, you will see that the center of the "bulb" has a snake-like shape. The bulb itself is attached to a base of which is attached something like a cable. Near the long end of the bulb is a support pillar that has two electrodes embedded inside the bulb near the "snake". This has been identified by electrical engineers as opposing filaments.
If one is free from prejudice and in relation to the above, the realization of the different inscriptions located in the Valley of the Kings and the rest of the passages and tombs of ancient Egypt could have been made with the help of electricity. A knowledge in a state of involution, which in the hands of the priestly caste was jealously guarded as a great legacy of the ancient gods.

How does Curiosity to become selfish?

Surely you have ever wondered how the rover curiosity does to photograph itself. Well, it turns out he has a telescopic arm to do these selfies, but ... And how come you do not see? The trick is that the camera that is placed at the end of the robotic arm, combines different photos for the final shot. If you look a little, sometimes you can see the shadows of the different angles of the arm. The selfies of this endearing rover have become one of the ways that Curiosity is teaching us what it sees on Mars and how its day to day work.

How long does it take for the sun to go around the Milky Way?

That is something, not because it is in a way very evident, it ceases to be a question that almost nobody is made. To give us an idea of the dimensions of the Universe (and in particular, of our galaxy), there is a very curious fact that perhaps you did not know, and it is that the Sun takes, 225 million years of attention in giving a complete return to The Milky Way. Amazing, right?

Already but just as the sun orbits very slowly our galaxy ... well, actually the Sun moves around the galactic center, describing an immense orbit at the speed of 792,000 kilometers per hour (or what is the same: 220 km / S).

Is there an immortal being?

We've all asked each other on that occasion, I think. And the answer is not "The human being" (or at least, not at the moment). Until that day arrives, there is already a small jellyfish barely one centimeter in size, which is immortal. It is called Turritopsis curricula, and under certain stress conditions, this creature can go in the opposite direction of the biological clock, so that its cells become a polyp, the juvenile structure of any jellyfish. He seems to be able to repeat this process, infinitely many times ... This jellyfish is native to the Caribbean seas but has spread all over the world.

A pre Agusta that everyone is made is: How much does everything built by man on Earth weigh?. All right, Maybe it's a geek question that nobody does, but not for that, it stops being less curious its answer. The products created by our technology already weigh 30 billion tons and are more numerous than all living species on the planet. Everything built by human beings to keep us alive on Earth is called a technosphere, and comprises houses, factories, farms, roads, airports ... and also smaller utensils such as mobile phones, computer systems, toothbrushes ... Whatever ... Of course, seen this way it does not seem so extraordinary that all this exceeds in weight, all forms of life on the planet, right? Or if?
The extent of the human footprint on the planet is equivalent to more than 50 kilos per square meter of the earth's surface. At its present scale, The technosphere is a new important phenomenon of this planet and that is evolving extraordinarily fast.

Do you know why it makes us laugh when they tickle us?

A question that you have asked yourself a thousand times ... (Or probably not) Well, according to studies by scientists at the University of Tübingen, the laughter that is provoked by tickling, is actually a defense mechanism. When you tickle someone, you are actually stimulating the nerve fibers that cause pain. Incredible but true. Eye, I'm talking about tickling by physical contact, not when you laugh for a joke.
The laughter of joy and amusement activates areas of the brain that control facial and vocal reactions, but only the tickling activates the hypothalamus, the region linked to pain.
It is seen that this kind of tickle laughter indicates submission, a recognition of defeat. Or put another way: Tingling is likely to be interpreted by the organism as a threat, and that laughter is a social signal of submission to avoid getting hurt or to defuse an alarming situation.

According to the studies, at the moment of receiving tickles activates in the brain the part that anticipates the pain, for this reason, it is possible to accidentally attack the person who is trying to tickle you.

This explains why we can not tickle ourselves: our brain is consistent that there is no need to provoke a response to an action or worry about anything. Or put another way: Tingling is likely to be interpreted by the organism as a threat, and that laughter is a social signal of submission to avoid getting hurt or to defuse an alarming situation.

For decades, the reports on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and encounters with aliens (in the third phase, of course) have provoked the investigation of amateurs to these matters, in the science also called ufología (of UFO, in English Unidentified Flying Objects), and governments, as well as popular interest in news media. However, scientists have received these sightings with skepticism, often despising ufology as a pseudoscience and believers in UFOs and extraterrestrials as irrational and even as sick.

On the contrary, believers doubt the accuracy and certainty of official science when it comes to the observations they witness. All this is signed by Greg Eghigian of the Pennsylvania State University in the United States, Which proposes a study on the historical sources of distrust between ufologists and scientists. He concludes that the scientists 'doubts about UFOs and aliens are not due to UFO scholars' ignorance of what science knows but rather to the fact that practices in science and ufology do not coincide at all. No matter who is a scientist and who is ufologist, then, whoever it is, doing science or not doing it depends on the methods used.

Science of ufology

It all began, according to experts, in 1946 and 1947 with the signaling of rockets and disks in the sky, unidentified, that began 70 years of proclamations of the existence of UFOs, extraterrestrials and ancient, very old astronauts, who visited us instead In time (rock paintings, Nazca or the astronaut of Mayan relief). Thus began ufology, the science that studies UFOs. And in this, we are, decades later, with an avalanche of news, books, documentaries and programs of radio and television centered on the UFOs and the extraterrestrials.

Eghigian relates the beginning of sightings and contacts with the Cold War. The dates coincide as everything began in the forties, both UFOs, and the Cold War. It was in June 1947 that a civilian pilot, Kenneth Arnold, saw nine strange ships flying in the skies of Washington state, in the western United States. By its description, the press baptized them like "flying saucers", although its profile was more like a semicircle with a central spot. They are the first UFOs for historians. But perhaps it helps us to understand what happened in the United States and why it became very widespread news that had happened in the north of Europe the previous year.

Between May and November 1946, thousands of Swedes, Norwegians, Finns and Germans reported sightings of rocket or circular ships, often with bright lights, flying at high speed through the skies of northern Europe. Some experts believed that these sightings were a product of the nerves of European citizens in those years when enmity began with the Soviet Union and what would be called the Cold War. Other experts, however, believed that, indeed, they were Soviet missiles. No one mentioned the aliens. Still. Nerves had to travel to the United States. It was in this atmosphere of fear that, perhaps, defined as UFOs, for the first time, the nine bright ships that Kenneth Arnold saw in June 1947.

The science of ufology

And all this was diluted in the nineties when the Soviet Union disappears. As an example, Eghigian reviews the number of UFO articles published in 25 US newspapers between 1985 and 2014. Until the mid-1990s there were between 60 and 160 articles a year. But, as of 1998, they fall below 40, that is, less than two articles per newspaper and year. Cold War and UFOs disappear. Or almost disappear because, according to National Geographic, 36% of Americans believe that UFOs exist, and 77% say there is credible evidence that aliens have visited our planet.

However, scientists not only do not believe in UFOs and extraterrestrials but stigmatize them and consider them, from the official science focus, as taboos to be avoided and ignored. This, in turn, feeds ufologists' accusation to scientists as narrow-minded, and ultimately as members of an organization that not only rejects but conspires to conceal important and valuable information from the public. And scientists accuse ufologists of being not scientists but rather believers who are not supported by valid evidence but only in their faith, blind faith, and uncritical faith.

However, there is no denying that there is a science of ufology. It is curious that official science, which rejects UFOs and aliens, accepts ufology and its practitioners as an interesting object of study. Thus, sociologists study public attitudes toward UFOs, or the social values of believers in aliens, or the social and economic background surrounding groups of ufologists.

Or psychologists follow ufologists in their dating with UFOs, with the special interest in those who claim to have been abducted. Also, cultural anthropologists are interested in what might be called UFO religions. And social scientists and experts in folklore review the messages that have left the aliens to witness sightings with the message that they transmit them to humanity and, again, With the special interest in the abductees. And, in the end, culture experts and psychologists are interested in how UFO beliefs carry conspiracy theories very easily and very often.

As I said, all these studies reflect that the mistrust between science and ufology has more to do with how things are done in one and another group than in who are scientists or ufologist. Doubts about the veracity of UFO sightings and aliens have always existed in the scientific community. The way they are obtained and narrated is very different from how, in science, knowledge is accumulated and accumulated. An insurmountable obstacle is the lack of undoubted material evidence on the presence of UFOs and aliens. Thus, ufologists' materials remain of more interest to anthropologists, sociologists or psychologists than to, for example, astronomers, physicists, or biologists. After a long history of successes and disappointments, science has come to the conclusion that what is based only on witnesses and believers is,

On the other hand, and we come back to the said, the scientists do not doubt the sincerity of the believers in the UFOs and extraterrestrials, rather they do of the authenticity of what they count. It happened, and serves as an example, with the abduction epidemic of a few years ago, which ultimately referred to victims of sexual attacks that tried to hide what they had suffered.

In conclusion, the onset of sightings of UFOs and aliens seems to be related to the onset of the Cold War and widespread fear in Western society. But, on the other hand, science and ufology are not understood, not by the object of study of ufologists, but, rather, by their way of working and, consequently, by the lack of reliable evidence of the existence of UFOs and Aliens It is not what they study nor the people who do it, but are the working methods they use. And, in addition, ufology itself has become an interesting subject of study for scientists from various disciplines. This is, finally, the science of ufology.

The immune system protects us against all kinds of infectious agents that abound in the environment. In fact, it is impossible to control our exposure to viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens, but if we have a strong and healthy immune system, our chances of getting sick are reduced.

However, psychologists like Dan Gilbert of Harvard University believe that we also have a psychological immune system. And people who strengthen it can deal better with adversity and problems, without adding too much anxiety, depression or hopelessness.

According to this theory, just as there are people who are virtually immune to viruses and almost never get sick, there are also those who can face the worst tragedies with more strength of mind while others crumble, sadden or stress to the smallest problems.

However, the truth is that we all have a psychological immune system. Studies show that about 75% of people manage to find a new balance that allows them to be happy after two years of suffering a great tragedy.

The psychological immune system would be responsible for building a safety net that will protect us from the effects of chronic stress and give us strength to withstand the most terrible events. While the biological immune system keeps us alive to protect us from disease, the psychological immune system dampens the impact of emotional bumps and allows us to move forward.

Overestimated as a strategy to protect self-esteem

The psychological immune system activates different strategies to protect us, one of which is to prevent us from hating our failures. That is why we tend to attribute the problems to external factors, such as the government, an incompetent subordinate or just bad luck.

In this way, we preserve our self-esteem and do not feel so depressed, frustrated or hopeless. In fact, a study conducted at Virginia Commonwealth University found that people who are prone to depression actually have a more objective view of the world and are often more logical and reflective. On the contrary, those who maintain a more optimistic attitude is because they put into practice certain biases that help them to deal better with their reality.

So it is not surprising that when we compare ourselves with others we think that we are more intelligent, that we have less prejudice, that we are more ethical and that we will live more years.

It is not a negative thing. In fact, psychologists at the University of California claim that positive states of self-affirmation, even positive illusions, help to reduce our stress level. These investigators found that incurable diseases progressed more slowly in people who harbored optimistic illusions, even if they were unrealistic since they have a protective effect.

From the biological point of view, this is due, in part, to the action of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, which regulates from digestion and body temperature to mood, physical energy, and the biological immune system. This axis also modulates our response to stress, so it has been appreciated that people with a positive perception have a healthier hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis than those who have a more negative perception of life and themselves.

It is only necessary to make sure that we do not lose too much contact with reality and that these illusions are not so unreal that they end up hurting us.

Our mind thinks positively automatically

Several studies suggest that people have an unfounded fear of negative events. We usually imagine the worst consequences and we assume that we will react very poorly but in reality when we face those problems we usually respond better than we thought. This is because we normally underestimate our resilience. Consequently, neither positive nor negative events change our lives as much as we thought.

In fact, when it comes to dealing with adversity, it is best to let our unconscious take over. A study carried out at Florida State University revealed that when thoughts burst into our minds about death, whether it's own or that of people we want, our brain does not remain paralyzed in negativity or fear for long but Who tries to move toward more positive thoughts.

In the experiment, psychologists trained more than 100 people to think about their own death. Another group was asked to imagine an unpleasant event, like going to the dentist. Then they presented to them some roots of words that they had to complete, like "go", from which they could write terms like "government" or "joy". Thus the researchers evaluated their unconscious emotional state.

They found that those who had thought about death used to choose more positive words, such as "joy." This mechanism that occurs at the unconscious level is the psychological immune system at work, trying to mitigate the effects of pain and suffering, leading us to see the positive part of life, even when we are facing the most desolate events.

How to strengthen the psychological immune system?

The psychological immune system is composed of two essential elements: the resilience component, which means facing adversity without collapsing and strengthened, and the component of eudaimonia, which states that sustainable happiness does not come from pleasure but from the meaning of life. Therefore, to strengthen your psychological immune system you must:

- Find the meaning of life. People who have a why are able to find the how even in the most difficult conditions. If you have a good reason to live, adversity will hit you but you will get stronger.

- Learn to focus on the positive. Resilient people are those who, even in adversity, do not collapse and are able to find the positive in problems. Every situation, however bad it may seem, entails learning, which at the same time becomes an opportunity for growth.

- Practice detachment. It is about understanding life as the course of a river, where everything comes and everything goes. In this way you can accept both good and bad things, knowing that they are not eternal and that, sooner or later, pain and suffering will disappear.

- Master the attention. David Kessler, who specializes in death and suffering, believes that most mental illnesses are caused by something that obsessively captures our attention. Therefore, if we are able to dominate our attention, we will develop a more effective immune system. In fact, the great Indian teacher Shantideva stated: " a distracted person lives continuously in the jaws of mental afflictions ."

Oregano is a shrub with evergreen leaves and it uses as many leaves as flowers which are where its characteristic aroma is concentrated.

It can be grown on almost any kind of soil, even in pots and prefers warm, dry and sunny weather. Mediterranean oregano has an ideal climate and it is from there that this herb comes with the highest concentration of essential oil.

Usually, we use it to enhance the flavor of the meals without knowing that this herb possesses incredible healing and medicinal properties. While we usually consume it dry, fresh keeps its properties better.

1. Relieves inflammation: Oregano is an excellent anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic and thanks to its high concentrations of thymol, helps to strengthen muscles and fight inflammatory diseases.

It is an important source of Omega-3 and has minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium and copper, as well as vitamins C, E, B6 and K, the latter being essential to strengthen bones.

2. Detoxifies the body: Recent studies have shown that oregano is able to detoxify the liver and help eliminate toxins thanks to its organic compounds and its important minerals.

3. Helps our skin: We have always heard that citrus fruits contain large amounts of antioxidants and nutrients, but believe it or not, oregano concentrates up to 20 times more in relation to other herbs and even in relation to blueberries that go to Front of fruits.

Its components prevent the aging of the skin and benefit our cells. 4. It improves our bone health: While we are young we do not make projections in the long term, but the truth is that with the years our bones become debilitated and we risk fractures, that is why it is important to feed ourselves properly during our youth. Oregano has calcium, and iron, which are essential minerals to strengthen the bone system and protect us from future osteoporosis. To take advantage of all these benefits provided by oregano, we recommend you prepare this healing drink: Ingredients: - 3 teaspoons fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried oregano - 300 ml water Preparation: - Boil water as for a cup - Place inside the Cup the oregano and pour the water - Cover the cup and let stand for 10 minutes - Paste the infusion and sweeten it with a teaspoon of sugar.
For Whiteland Agnes it is one of the most baffling incidents in the history of ufology, and dates back to the years of World War I (1914-1918). The event took place in England.

¿Traveling time watching World War I? The Strange Case of Agnes Whiteland

The story begins when Agnes Whiteland overlooks the balcony of his house on the first floor. A few meters displayed in the air a round platform with a thickness of 30 cm and a diameter of 3.5 meters. On the platform were eight to twelve men, standing in a circle, looking straight ahead as if they were watching something around. This platform had two irons in circumference, one at the knees of those men and the other a little higher. These visitors were dressed in blue uniform and cap the same color. They looked like a military.

According to the story of Agnes Whiteland, this platform was about nine meters high from the ground and about a hundred meters away from where the witness was. The mystery of this event is that this platform does not apparently had no propulsion engine or produce any noise that could be perceived with the naked ear.

Nor were any visible cables or ropes which could be stretched platform holding these travelers quiet. They remained in this place for a few minutes and disappeared in the same direction from which they came. As for the uniform they wore, it seemed much more modern than the usual military uniform at that time. You could say that his presence did not fit either the place or the time.

The information received on this unusual event has been investigated by several experts. The results found no valid explanation of what happened and this form of transport used by visitors.

Among all the facts it seems to be an isolated event. All apparently points to a visit from some men acudidos from the future to observe and be witnesses of the First World War. But this case, maybe it will never be solved or explained scientifically based.

For now, this story is like a memory in the minds of family members still living today and live with this unusual experience of that English lady called Agnes Whiteland.

The image became viral in 2012: A scene shot in 1938 where a woman appears holding what looks like a mobile phone.

Lovers of conspiracies have pointed to it as proof that there is time travel. Will it be a reality or a lie? A video uploaded to YouTube in which some workers left a factory in the United States. As it was said in the text that accompanied it, it was recorded in 1938. Nothing extraordinary, except that at a time of the shot, you can see a young woman talking about something similar to a modern mobile phone. Then she pulls it out of her ear, and carries it in her hand, just like any contemporary teen sending a Whatsapp to her friends. Is this evidence of an object outside of its time? A time traveler, perhaps?

Shortly after the video appeared, a user named "planet check" added a comment on youtube stating that he knew the woman. Her name was Gertrude Jones, and she was her great-grandmother. According to this user, the woman was then 17 years old and was leaving a Dupont factory in Leominster, Massachusetts. Her name was Gertrude Jones, and she was her great-grandmother.

According to this user, the woman was then 17 years old and was leaving a Dupont factory in Leominster, Massachusetts. Dupont had a telephony section in the factory, and was testing a prototype wireless phone. The woman was talking to another companion, who did not appear in the sequence, and who was on her right.

Mystery solved? Not so fast. The comments that a user writes on youtube have the same validity as any video that we find on this platform. He may be a prankster with a desire to get his 5 minutes of glory.

By that time, the batteries were more than considerable in size. Of the smallest I have found, we have this Dryden of 1940, of 9 volts and a size of 13 × 7 cm. Only the battery is already the size that the entire device looks like.

But it was that at that time the transistors had not yet developed, and the electronic equipment used vacuum valves. The first prototype portable walkie talkie was developed by Motorola in 1940. It was the SCR-536, quite large. Possibly you could reduce the size somewhat if you had fewer pretensions in battery life and reach, but so much to leave it in the size of a modern mobile phone.

And if it is not a mobile, cellular or wireless phone, what can it be? Anything. If we recorded people on the street, we would be surprised at the amount of nonsense we can do. It may just be your purse, a package, anything.

You would also have to make sure that the video was actually recorded in 1938, and not at a later time. The first video that was uploaded in 2012 is no longer available and only copies remain. How about? Leave us your Comment!
